Float in Cinema

floatin1 floatin4 As part of a continuous series of public events and creative responses to the development of the London 2012 Olympic Park I organised a film screening event at the former Counter Café on Fish Island opposite the Olympic stadium in progress. I invited Studio Superniche to bring their boats made out of the blue fence that surrounded the park (now being replaced by high voltage electric fencing) onto which we screened a programme of films that had been made around the area and specifically the absurdist blue border. The programme of films included Jem Finer’s Olympic State.Tessa Garland’s Parkland, The Games and osa’s ‘Point of View. The event featured the launch of Jean Francois Prost collaborative project book Adaptive Actions.
